Large Cats
Mountain Lion (felis concolor) -  largest of the so-called small cats. Approx. skull length 8"
Jaguar (panthera onca) -  3rd largest and pound-for-pound the strongest of all the cats. Approx skull length 9"
Leopard (panthera pardus) -  Widely distributed across two continents, the leopard is the only big cat that routinely drags its prey into trees to gaurd it from scavengers. Aprox. skull length 9".
Front teeth comparison - mountain lion
(top), jaguar (left) and leopard (below).  Notice that all cats (except for extinct sabertoothed varieties) have relatively small incisor teeth compared to other carnivores.
This helps give the canines maximum piercing power.
